VIP Air Stag (Hiiden Hirvi)

VIP Air uses the same material as our durable VIP plastic. It has solid plastic at the top and bottom of the rim to protect the microbubbles in the plastic on impact. These microbubbles actually make the disc lighter. They are spread out through the top of the disc and middle of the rim to keep the weight distribution nearly identical to VIP and Tournament discs.

Westside Discs is a brand originally developed in Finland, inspired by the naming conventions of Finland’s national epic, Kalevala. Westside Discs forms Trilogy, a close connection with Dynamic Discs and Latitude 64. These manufacturers produce their discs in the same factory using the same types of plastics, but each has its own lineup of disc models. Westside Discs' premium plastics, known as Vip, Tournament, and Elasto. The basic plastics, which are grippier but less durable, include Bt Soft/Medium/Hard and BT Origio.

Some of Westside Discs' most popular discs include Tursas, Underworld (Manala), Hatchet (Sotakirves), Sword (Kalevan miekka), and Swan (Tuonelan joutsen).

The numbers that usually appear on the top of the disc indicate the flight characteristics of the disc. The most commonly used way to tell the flight characteristics is to use four numbers: speed, glide, stability and fade.

Disc golf discs usually weigh between 140 and 180 grams. The lighter the disc, the less stable it is. Conversely, the heavier the disc, the more overstable it behaves.
