Product Info

Named after the fast and agile Racer snake, Innova's new distance driver decreases low-speed overstability while maintaining torque resistance.

The key advantage of the Racer's design is its ability to withstand high-velocity throws without becoming flippy, while shedding some of the the low-speed overstability typical of traditional drivers. For players who favor forehands or possess 350-plus feet of backhand power, the Racer offers unparalleled ease of control at maximum distance. It flies like a longer Destroyer, but with more forward finish and less sideways flare on the skip.

Loved by the Pros, these prototype Metal Flake Champion Racers are a tad beefier than other plastics.

Metal Flake Champion plastic is regular Champion plastic with a twist. Tiny metal particles have been added to the extra durable Champion plastic to give the disc an extraordinary shine.

The disc golf market leader Innova Discs started in 1983 and have been at the forefront of disc golf ever since. Based in California in the United States, Innova Discs has a full line of discs from putters to distance drivers in many popular plastic types.

Popular Innova discs include: Aviar, Roc, Teebird, Leopard, Firebird, and Destroyer.

The numbers that usually appear on the top of the disc indicate the flight characteristics of the disc. The most commonly used way to tell the flight characteristics is to use four numbers: speed, glide, stability and fade.

Disc golf discs usually weigh between 140 and 180 grams. The lighter the disc, the less stable it is. Conversely, the heavier the disc, the more overstable it behaves.
