The Orbital is a high-speed distance driver designed as the most understable driver in the acclaimed 21.5mm Distance class. Fans of the Wave, Inertia, and Impulse will find a familiar highly responsive character in the Orbital, as it can be manipulated onto a variety of lines relative to power level and release angles. Smooth throwers and those with modest driver power will maximize straight distance flights best with the Orbital. Power throwers will discover a range of roller, sky turn, and low ceiling finesse lines.

Although this is a high speed distance driver and demands a fast air speed for maximum performance, its manageable stability performs well when powered in the lower registers for the 21.5mm class. As GYRO™ Overmold Technology stabilizes drivers during their aerodynamic turn, the Orbital should be a reliable though understable driver even for the most advanced throwers.

Eclipse plastic will combine a new and improved glow experience. The white rim may no longer be photoreactive, but the core brightness is out of this world! This combination is sure to be a smash hit, so spend less time looking for discs and more time playing!

MVP Disc Sports originates from Michigan, USA. MVP manufactures discs with a different style compared to others. They create discs using two different plastics, which they have branded as Gyro. The purpose of the dual-plastic disc is to shift the weight to the outer rim, increasing the amount of spin and providing a bit more stability. MVP Disc Sports’ discs are almost always black-rimmed, except for Eclipse and R2-Neutron plastics. MVP's so-called premium plastics include Neutron, Plasma, Proton, Eclipse, Fission, and R2-Neutron. Grippier and faster-wearing base plastics include Electron Soft, Electron, and Electron Firm.

The numbers that usually appear on the top of the disc indicate the flight characteristics of the disc. The most commonly used way to tell the flight characteristics is to use four numbers: speed, glide, stability and fade.

Disc golf discs usually weigh between 140 and 180 grams. The lighter the disc, the less stable it is. Conversely, the heavier the disc, the more overstable it behaves.
