Vipunen (Giant) is Westside Discs most reliable over stable high speed driver. For professional players it will be your go to hyzer disc for shots over 350 feet. VIP-X has all the good qualities of regular VIP plastic, but it is a slightly stiffer plastic that results in more overstable flights.

VIP plastic blend is made out of some of the world's most durable plastics. It comes in a variety of beautiful transluscent colors. The VIP plastic has been developed to withstand severe punishment and extreme conditions better than other plastics.

Westside Discs is a brand originally developed in Finland, inspired by the naming conventions of Finland’s national epic, Kalevala. Westside Discs forms Trilogy, a close connection with Dynamic Discs and Latitude 64. These manufacturers produce their discs in the same factory using the same types of plastics, but each has its own lineup of disc models. Westside Discs' premium plastics, known as Vip, Tournament, and Elasto. The basic plastics, which are grippier but less durable, include Bt Soft/Medium/Hard and BT Origio.

The numbers that usually appear on the top of the disc indicate the flight characteristics of the disc. The most commonly used way to tell the flight characteristics is to use four numbers: speed, glide, stability and fade.

Disc golf discs usually weigh between 140 and 180 grams. The lighter the disc, the less stable it is. Conversely, the heavier the disc, the more overstable it behaves.
