Always nice to see when a company listens to its customers and considers changes to their products. All of the changes make so much sense. Starting from the practical tweaks like a bigger main compartment opening to just smart decisions like the new TPU covered material on the bottom and front part of the bag. Makes super much sense in rainy and snowy conditions. Pair that with the firm bottom and rails and it easily turns into the best bag for winter golf.

They made the upper compartment slightly bigger which is a nice bonus. I’ve personally never had any room problems with the old one as well.

And then the changes that add features where there weren’t before, like the mini pocket. Adds a feature without compromising on the comfort. Perfect.

And then the new side compartments which was initially the biggest selling point for me. To have a separate pocket for your chalk bag and smaller things like warmup rubber bands ect. Just super practical and easier to keep your things organised. Too often i found myself digging through the big side compartments on my AX5 looking for a candy bar or insect repellent. So far these extra pockets do the job well.

Also what turned out to be very useful were the extra zipper pulls in red. I swapped out both (lower and upper) side compartment zipper pulls on one side. So now i know that the lower pocket with the red pull has my towels. Easier to have it visualised.

Now time to see how it holds up over time…
