Innova

Champion Dyed Tern

The Tern is a Speed 12 Distance Driver with a flight similar to the Archon with exceptional glide. As the name suggests, the Tern is an easy to turn driver for skilled recreational players. It makes a long range power roller for bigger arms. Newer players will find this disc a straight flyer with predictable fade. This disc is uniquely colored.

Champion Dyed discs are individually colored for a one of a kind look and the disc in the product picture may differ from the disc you will receive with your order.

The disc golf market leader Innova Discs started in 1983 and have been at the forefront of disc golf ever since. Based in California in the United States, Innova Discs has a full line of discs from putters to distance drivers in many popular plastic types.

Popular Innova discs include: Aviar, Roc, Teebird, Leopard, Firebird, and Destroyer.

The numbers that usually appear on the top of the disc indicate the flight characteristics of the disc. The most commonly used way to tell the flight characteristics is to use four numbers: speed, glide, stability and fade.

Disc golf discs usually weigh between 140 and 180 grams. The lighter the disc, the less stable it is. Conversely, the heavier the disc, the more overstable it behaves.
