Product description:
MVP Disc Sports Neutron Soft Glitch
Glitch is a hybrid catch disc designed to blur the lines between disc golf and a catch disc. The Glitch has the diameter of a putter and is PDGA approved as well, making it truly the best of both worlds. The Glitch is the first MVP disc with 7 glide - just a flick of the wrist is all that stands between you and a game of catch on the beach or an approach to the green!
Neutron Soft plastic makes the Glitch easily catchable when throwing around with a friend, but it also makes the Glitch an awesome approach or scramble disc because of its tendency to sit where it lands.
Its neutral flight path makes it a tremendous first disc to learn with - making it a great first disc for players with Ultimate frisbee backgrounds and lower power players! Available in 140g-154g, don’t let its light weight fool you, the Glitch has enough aerodynamic stability and glide to be a useful tool on the course. For anyone who loves to throw discs, either on the course or just playing catch, the Glitch makes an awesome companion for a fun time and some awesome lines. There’s a spot in every player’s bag for the Glitch!
Plastic:
Neutron Soft
Neutron Soft plastic has a softer core than Neutron plastic. Neutron is MVP Sport Discs high quality polymer blend that offers a premium look and feel while maintaining the excellent durability of Proton plastic. Neutron is your go-to polymer for continued, reliable performance in all conditions.
Brand:
MVP Disc Sports
MVP Disc Sports originates from Michigan, USA. MVP manufactures discs with a different style compared to others. They create discs using two different plastics, which they have branded as Gyro. The purpose of the dual-plastic disc is to shift the weight to the outer rim, increasing the amount of spin and providing a bit more stability. MVP Disc Sports’ discs are almost always black-rimmed, except for Eclipse and R2-Neutron plastics. MVP's so-called premium plastics include Neutron, Plasma, Proton, Eclipse, Fission, and R2-Neutron. Grippier and faster-wearing base plastics include Electron Soft, Electron, and Electron Firm.
Popular MVP Disc Sports discs include: Ion, Reactor, Relay, Volt, and Photon.
Flight Numbers
The numbers that usually appear on the top of the disc indicate the flight characteristics of the disc. The most commonly used way to tell the flight characteristics is to use four numbers: speed, glide, stability and fade.
Disc Weight
Disc golf discs usually weigh between 140 and 180 grams. The lighter the disc, the less stable it is. Conversely, the heavier the disc, the more overstable it behaves.
