K1 Krut First Run

If you don't want to fear flipping over when you need a big throw - try Krut. Krut is an overstable driver for the big arms and for big winds.

K1 is a unique plastic blend manufactured in Sweden. It is moderately grippy and extremely durable. K1 is a stiffer blend than Kastaplasts K2 plastic.

Kastaplast is a Swedish brand, and its production takes place in Sweden. Kastaplast's plastic blends are particularly well-regarded. Kastaplast's premium plastics include K1 and K1 Soft. The faster-wearing and grippier base plastics are K3 and K3 Hard.

Some of Kastaplast's most popular discs are the uniquely shaped putters Berg and Berg X, Reko, Stig, and Krut.

The numbers that usually appear on the top of the disc indicate the flight characteristics of the disc. The most commonly used way to tell the flight characteristics is to use four numbers: speed, glide, stability and fade.

Disc golf discs usually weigh between 140 and 180 grams. The lighter the disc, the less stable it is. Conversely, the heavier the disc, the more overstable it behaves.
