Whether used in heavily wooded situations, or on extremely rugged courses, the C-Line plastic will continue to perform predictably and avoid damage better than any other plastic. Founded in Finland in 2006, Discmania is one of the most popular manufacturers in disc golf. Discmania has three disc lineups: Evolution, Originals, and Active. The first two are manufactured in Sweden, while the third is produced in China.

The numbers that usually appear on the top of the disc indicate the flight characteristics of the disc. The most commonly used way to tell the flight characteristics is to use four numbers: speed, glide, stability and fade.

Disc golf discs usually weigh between 140 and 180 grams. The lighter the disc, the less stable it is. Conversely, the heavier the disc, the more overstable it behaves.
