Return a New Disc with a Digital Receipt
Choosing the right disc golf disc can sometimes be difficult. After buying several discs you may realise one of them won’t see regular use. In addition to helping you choose in our stores and online shop, we also offer a 30-day return option for the new discs you purchase. The benefit is intended for customers aged 18 and over.
How it works
Register as a Powergrip customer, sign in to your account, and buy a new disc from Powergrip. Please make sure that you’re logged in to your account when you make the purchase.
Test the disc with confidence—play several rounds if you like. If the disc isn’t for you, you can return it to a Powergrip store within 30 days of purchase. We will then credit you 50% of the price shown on the digital receipt as a gift card—even if the disc has been used.
Terms
-
Digital receipt: At the time of return, there must be a digital receipt for the purchase linked to your customer account. The right of return applies only to purchases of new single discs (not disc bundles) made while logged in to your Powergrip customer account, either in store or online.
-
In-store purchases: Tell the staff at checkout that you want the purchase recorded to your customer account. If you don’t have an account, our staff can quickly create one for you.
-
Return to store: Present the receipt for your purchase at checkout; it must show your name. If you made the purchase while logged in to your customer account—online or in store—the receipt will include your name. The return must be made within 30 days of the purchase date shown on the receipt to any Powergrip store.

Brand:
MVP Disc Sports
MVP Disc Sports originates from Michigan, USA. MVP manufactures discs with a different style compared to others. They create discs using two different plastics, which they have branded as Gyro. The purpose of the dual-plastic disc is to shift the weight to the outer rim, increasing the amount of spin and providing a bit more stability. MVP Disc Sports’ discs are almost always black-rimmed, except for Eclipse and R2-Neutron plastics. MVP's so-called premium plastics include Neutron, Plasma, Proton, Eclipse, Fission, and R2-Neutron. Grippier and faster-wearing base plastics include Electron Soft, Electron, and Electron Firm.
Popular MVP Disc Sports discs include: Ion, Reactor, Relay, Volt, and Photon.
Flight Numbers
The numbers that usually appear on the top of the disc indicate the flight characteristics of the disc. The most commonly used way to tell the flight characteristics is to use four numbers: speed, glide, stability and fade.
Disc Weight
Disc golf discs usually weigh between 140 and 180 grams. The lighter the disc, the less stable it is. Conversely, the heavier the disc, the more overstable it behaves.
