Print Options in General
We customise discs using two techniques: single-color metal foil printing and multi-color printing. You can choose the option you prefer.
- In the single-color metal foil printing, the feel, durability and quality are the same as on any regular factory hot-stamped disc.
- With multi-color printing, we can print, for example, a photo of your pet on the surface of the disc you choose. This method leaves a film on the disc. In our opinion, the wear resistance of our implementation is better than the typical multi-color printing seen in the industry, but not as good as with metal foil technology. The shapes of the discs affect the appearance of the print. For example, a completely flat disc can be printed almost the size of the entire top of the disc. A slight curvature in the disc does not affect the accuracy of the print. If the side profile of the disc falls from the center of the disc to the edge by more than 3 mm, we may not be able to print the entire size of the disc.

Please provide your custom images in one of following file formats:

Requirements
- One-color metal foil printing on the top of the disc, minimum image resolution 1000x1000 pixels. (E.g. a logo with the maximum size of 140x140 mm.)
- The minimum resolution for printing of mini markers: 600x600 pixels.
- The minimum resolution for multi-color printing on top of discs: 2000x2000 pixels. (E.g. a photo of a pet, size 200 x 200 mm.) In most cases, a print resolution of 300 dpi is sufficient for a photo. The resolution of our device is 1440 dpi.
Material Instructions
- In Hot-Stamp-Printing; Avoid areas that require uniform printing, as the metal foil does not attach well on large areas. Break a large surface with a pattern.
- Line thickness 1-18 points.
- Text size at least 12 points.
- Leave the center of the disc empty of graphics.
The customer is responsible for the content of the print. We may refuse to print some graphics, for example, based on what we have agreed between disc manufacturers or on the basis of good taste. Typically, we do not comment on graphics and their rights.

Flight Numbers
The numbers that usually appear on the top of the disc indicate the flight characteristics of the disc. The most commonly used way to tell the flight characteristics is to use four numbers: speed, glide, stability and fade.
Disc Weight
Disc golf discs usually weigh between 140 and 180 grams. The lighter the disc, the less stable it is. Conversely, the heavier the disc, the more overstable it behaves.
