Opto Air Compass

This straight flyer will go wherever you need it to go, and holds any line in a predictable way. Not shallow, not deep, this disc will fit in any hand. Opto Air uses the same material as our durable Opto plastic. It has solid plastic at the top and bottom of the rim to protect the microbubbles in the plastic on impact. These microbubbles actually make the disc lighter. They are spread out through the top of the disc and middle of the rim to keep the weight distribution nearly identical to Opto and Gold discs.

Latitude 64, based in Skellefteå, Sweden, has grown to become one of the world's largest manufacturers of disc golf discs. The numbers that usually appear on the top of the disc indicate the flight characteristics of the disc. The most commonly used way to tell the flight characteristics is to use four numbers: speed, glide, stability and fade.

Disc golf discs usually weigh between 140 and 180 grams. The lighter the disc, the less stable it is. Conversely, the heavier the disc, the more overstable it behaves.
