The Commerce read model is the canonical source for the Commerce API, UCP catalog and OpenAI product feed. The API provides current product and variant information including product details, manufacturer, plastic, price, availability, stock status, weight, color, color family, flight numbers, product and variant URLs, and product images. Plastic metadata also exposes durability scores. ### Price and availability semantics Commerce API prices are integer EUR cents. For example, 1090 means €10.90. The existing products.json feed uses EUR amounts in euros and is a separate webshop product feed. The `purchasable` field describes whether a product is structurally eligible to be added to a payable order. It is independent of current stock. A product may therefore have `purchasable: true` and `availability: out_of_stock` when it can be sold but is currently out of stock. Use `availability`, `inventory_quantity`, and variant `available` for current stock status. ### Agent workflow 1. Discover products with GET /api/commerce/products and use filters such as q, brand, category, plastic, `min_plastic_durability`, `plastic_tier`, color_family, price, weight, flight numbers and in_stock. 2. Inspect the product and its variants. Use a variant's `url` when adding it to a cart. Do not construct variant URLs when a URL is already provided by the API. 3. Create a cart with POST /api/commerce/cart. 4. Add or update items using the temporary signed `cart_url`. Use the exact `variant.url` returned by the API as `variant_url`; do not construct or modify variant URLs. 5. Use the cart response to verify the selected item, quantity and total. 6. When the customer is ready to continue, follow `continue_url` to the normal Powergrip checkout. ### Product discovery - GET /api/commerce/products - GET /api/commerce/products/{product} - GET /api/commerce/products/{product}/variants/{variant} - GET /api/commerce/products/{product}/alternatives Alternatives support relative stability comparisons and flight-number comparisons for speed, glide, turn and fade, plus minimum/maximum price constraints. same speed means within ±1 of the reference speed. same stability means the same stability class OR turn and fade both within ±1 of the reference. straighter means candidate turn > reference turn OR candidate fade < reference fade, with speed within ±1 of the reference. ### Cart Cart operations are intended to be performed by the agent through the Commerce Cart API, not by asking the customer to click an Add to cart button in the webshop UI. - POST /api/commerce/cart — create an empty cart - GET /api/commerce/cart/{cart} — get the current cart - POST /api/commerce/cart/{cart} — add a product variant - PATCH /api/commerce/cart/{cart} — update an item quantity - DELETE /api/commerce/cart/{cart} — cancel the cart Cart resource URLs are temporary signed capability URLs and are valid for 24 hours. The `cart_url` is the signed Commerce API URL for cart operations. The `continue_url` opens the same cart in the normal Powergrip checkout. The Commerce Cart API does not process payment. Adding items to a cart does not reserve inventory; inventory is reserved only when checkout starts. ### UCP Powergrip also exposes a Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) REST adapter over the same Commerce read model and existing cart infrastructure. UCP version `2026-08-25`. Use UCP when the consuming client supports the UCP shopping protocol. - Profile discovery: GET /.well-known/ucp - UCP REST base: /ucp/v1 - POST /ucp/v1/catalog/search — catalog search - POST /ucp/v1/catalog/lookup — product/variant lookup - POST /ucp/v1/catalog/product — product detail and option selection - POST /ucp/v1/carts — create a UCP cart - GET /ucp/v1/carts/{cart} — retrieve a UCP cart - PUT /ucp/v1/carts/{cart} — replace UCP cart line items - POST /ucp/v1/carts/{cart}/cancel — cancel a UCP cart UCP carts use the existing agent cart infrastructure and CartService. UCP does not implement a separate payment or checkout flow. The cart `continue_url` leads to the normal Powergrip webshop checkout. ### MCP Powergrip exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for AI clients that support remote MCP servers. The MCP endpoint uses Streamable HTTP at /mcp. Available tools: - search_products — free-text product and variant discovery - get_product — product and variant details - create_cart — create an agent cart - add_to_cart — add an exact Commerce variant to an agent cart - get_cart — retrieve an agent cart MCP search_products is a discovery tool, not a second structured Commerce search API. It searches product name, model, variation, description, brand and plastic, and returns matching products with their available variants. It accepts query (optional for release-date sorting), language (default en), limit (default 10; maximum 50), released_after (YYYY-MM-DD) and sort (relevance or release_date_desc). Normal relevance searches exclude products with a future release date. Use released_after to filter release dates from a given date onward, and sort=release_date_desc to order newest and upcoming products first; an empty query is allowed with release-date sorting. Upcoming products are marked release_status=upcoming. Exact release_date is exposed only when the planned date is within one month; otherwise the product is marked upcoming without an exact date. Cart operations reject products that are not yet released. Use the Commerce API or UCP for structured filters such as exact flight numbers, weight, price, color family or stock status.\n\nThe recommended MCP shopping workflow is: 1. Use search_products to discover candidate products. 2. Use get_product when the exact product details or variants need to be inspected. It accepts a product ID or a canonical product/variant identifier such as bcape:62B3BC-147. 3. Select the exact variant returned by the catalog data. Never invent product or variant identifiers. 4. Use create_cart to create an agent cart. 5. Use add_to_cart with the exact variant ID returned by the product data. Quantities are limited to 1–50 per call. 6. Use get_cart to verify the selected item, quantity and total. MCP cart operations use the existing agent cart infrastructure and CartService. MCP does not implement a separate checkout or payment system. ### MCP authentication The public MCP endpoint is protected with OAuth 2.0 authorization code flow and PKCE (S256). The required scope is mcp:use. - Protected resource metadata: GET /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource - Authorization server metadata: GET /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server - Dynamic client registration: POST /oauth/register - Authorization endpoint: /oauth/authorize - Token endpoint: /oauth/token Public clients do not use a client secret. HTTPS redirect URIs are required for web clients; native clients may use localhost loopback redirect URIs. PKCE S256 is required; PKCE plain is not supported. The authorization response includes the authorization server issuer (iss), and access tokens are bound to the configured MCP resource. Requests require the mcp:use scope and a token issued by the configured issuer for that resource. ### Metadata - GET /api/commerce/brands - GET /api/commerce/categories - GET /api/commerce/plastics - GET /api/commerce/color-families ### Filtering Products can be filtered by search, brand, category, plastic, minimum plastic durability, color family, price, weight, stability, speed, glide, turn, fade, and stock status. Natural-language semantics used by the agent include: - approx. price: "noin X euroa" means a ±10% range - light: "kevyt" means weight < 165 g - high glide: "paljon liitävä" means glide > 4 - little turn: "vähän turnia" means turn > -2 - straight: STABLE with turn <= -1 and fade <= 1 - fast: "nopea" means speed >= 9 - not very fast: "ei ihan hirveän nopea" means speed <= 10 - lightest: "mahdollisimman kevyt" means select the variant with the lowest available weight - heaviest: "mahdollisimman painava" means select the variant with the highest available weight - roughly the same speed as X: candidate speed within ±1 of the reference speed - as stable as X: same stability class OR turn and fade both within ±1 of the reference - most understable: "mahdollisimman alivakaa" means UNDERSTABLE and select the candidate with the smallest turn + fade value - flight distance / throw distance: when a player gives their own throw distance and asks for a suitable disc, target speed = throw distance in meters / 10; for example 60 m -> speed 6 and 90 m -> speed 9. Use this as the primary recommendation target, normally as min_speed=max_speed=target speed. This is a Powergrip heuristic, not an officially validated external standard - flight distance comparison: "ei lennä ihan niin pitkälle kuin X" is distinct from the throw-distance heuristic and should only be mapped to a slower speed when the player's throw context supports that comparison - plastic tier: "premium-muovi" means durability >= 7; "basic-muovi" means durability < 7; plastics with missing durability may match either tier - easier to turn than a reference: candidate turn < reference turn and candidate fade <= reference fade These rules are explicit contract semantics; do not invent additional numeric thresholds. ### Product alternatives The alternatives endpoint keeps the same primary disc category and ranks results by flight-profile similarity. Relative stability and flight-number comparisons for speed, glide, turn and fade can be combined, and min_price/max_price can constrain the result set. Relative flight-number comparisons are same, lower, lower_or_same, higher or higher_or_same. Speed=same currently means within ±1; same for glide, turn and fade means the exact same value. When no direction is provided, the endpoint returns alternatives from other manufacturers. When the user asks which item in an existing candidate set is closest to a reference product, rank the candidates lexicographically by absolute speed difference, then absolute fade difference, then absolute turn difference, and finally absolute glide difference. Do not use a weighted sum. ### Incremental synchronization Use the updated_since parameter to retrieve products changed after a given ISO 8601 timestamp. Product changes and stock variant changes are included. ### Languages The API supports Finnish (fi) and English (en). Use the lang parameter to select the response language. The Commerce API supports product discovery and cart operations. UCP provides the standardized catalog and cart adapter. Checkout is handled through the normal Powergrip webshop. - API: https://powergrip.fi/api/commerce - OpenAPI specification: https://powergrip.fi/docs/commerce-openapi.yaml - Agent contract: https://powergrip.fi/docs/commerce-agent-contract.yaml - Product feed: https://powergrip.fi/products.json - OpenAI product feed: https://powergrip.fi/openai-products.jsonl ## Product Categories - [Discounted items](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/Discounted%20items) - [Bags](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/Bags) - [Caps](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/Caps) - [Beanies](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/Beanies) - [Shirts](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/Shirts) - [Hoodies](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/Hoodies) - [Compression Products](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/Compression%20Products) - [Putters](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/Putters) - [Midrange](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/Midrange) - [Fairway Drivers](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/Fairway%20Drivers) - [Distance Drivers](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/Distance%20Drivers) - [New releases](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/New%20releases) - [Targets](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/Targets) - [Towels](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/Towels) - [Umbrellas](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/Umbrellas) - [Bottles](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/Bottles) - [Accessories](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/Accessories) - [Dyeing](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/Dyeing) - [Canine Discs](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/Canine%20Discs) - [Ultimate](https://powergrip.fi/frisbeegolf/Ultimate) ## Blog - [Tips for Disc Golfers](https://powergrip.fi/apua/frisbeegolf-vinkit) - [Help for Selecting Disc Golf Discs](https://powergrip.fi/apua/frisbeegolf-kiekot) - [Plastic Types of Disc Golf Discs](https://powergrip.fi/apua/frisbeegolf-muovilaadut) - [Using the Colour-Weight Selector](https://powergrip.fi/apua/vari-painovalitsin) ## Policies - [Used Discs](https://powergrip.fi/ohjeet/kaytetyt-kiekot) - [Powergrip Buyback](https://powergrip.fi/ohjeet/powergrip-buyback) - [Custom Products](https://powergrip.fi/ohjeet/custom-tuotteet) - [Stores](https://powergrip.fi/myymalat) - [Ordering](https://powergrip.fi/ohjeet/tilaaminen) - [Clubs](https://powergrip.fi/ohjeet/sopimusseurat) - [Customer Returns](https://powergrip.fi/ohjeet/asiakaspalautukset) - [Delivery Policy](https://powergrip.fi/ohjeet/toimitukset) - [Payment Methods](https://powergrip.fi/ohjeet/maksutavat) ## Company Information - [Story of Powergrip since 2009](https://powergrip.fi/powergripin-tarina) - [Retail locations](https://powergrip.fi/ota-yhteytta) - Contact Us: sales@powergrip.fi | +358 45 2718818
